Travel with us to the Lower Skagit Valley and experience some of the best winter birding our region has to offer. Witness the aerial acrobatics of Short-eared Owls and Northern Harriers as they compete for prized voles. Behold Trumpeter Swans, the largest waterfowl in the world. Find yourself surrounded by thousands of Snow Geese, and see if you can spot the elusive blue goose. As we weave our way through fallow fields and visit estuaries, we will be on the lookout for these fascinating birds, and many more.
This trip is limited to 10 participants and carpooling is strongly encouraged, as many of our stops have very limited parking. The fewer cars we take, the more places we can explore!
Once registered, you will receive more information about our trip, including what to expect, what to bring, and our projected itinerary.
