Small Sit* at the Keystone Dive Park/Boat Launch

  • Keystone Dive Park and Boat Launch 1390 State Route 20 Coupeville, WA, 98239 United States (map)

Join us for a small sit to look for marine birds including cormorants, grebes, diving ducks and loons. There is a packed-cobble sitting area. Picnic tables and a few chairs are available and a restroom. There is no walking for this field trip just sit or stand and watch the birds. Bring a chair if you want one. Families with children welcome. Leader will have one scope to share. Binoculars and bird guides will be available for use during the sit.

Participants are free to come and go as they please during the two hour "sit". This is a Washington State Park free day. NO Discover Pass needed. Questions contact the trip leader, Madrone.

*The idea of the small sit is to offer a type of field trip that may allow some who are unable to attend traditional walking field trips an opportunity to go birding and enjoy the outdoors.
