General Meeting & Program: Come Share Your Best Birding Moments and More

  • Coupeville Recreation Hall 901 NW Alexander Street Coupeville, WA 98239 United States (map)

Join us for our last general membership and program meeting before our summer break. We enjoyed the photo-sharing program so much last year that we want to do it again. There will be an ice cream social too!

  • Photo sharing! Bring your favorite bird photos of avian species, taken anywhere. Any photos of avian species are welcome, whether taken locally or at some exotic or foreign locale. Photos should be on a flash or thumb drive. Those who wish to share photos will be asked to sign in upon arrival. The amount of time allotted to each photographer for sharing will depend on the number of people who sign up.

  • Announcement of scholarship recipients. Three high school seniors are receiving Renee Smith Scholarships for Environmental Studies this year.

  • Presentation of Golden Binoculars Award. Recognizing the team that counted the greatest number of species during May’s Birdathon.

Browse through donated books and take some home. Read more about the membership program on our website.

Volunteers are needed to set up the room and organize the ice cream and toppings. Please go to the Whidbey Audubon website volunteer page. Thank you.

The next general membership meeting is September 10 at the Coupeville Recreation Hall. We welcome volunteers to join the program committee to plan our presentations.
